About 5 years ago we were evicted from our house. What happened was there was a contract error that we found and when we brought it to the mortgage companies attention rather than yield to us they served us with a 3 day cure or quit notice followed by an eviction notice. We showed up at court to fight the eviction (just wanted more time than three days to move out) and when we got there, their lawyer was waiting outside the court room and we settled by giving him several hundred dollars to extend our stay. We never even went into the court room. I am wondering if this will show up. It does not show up on either me nor my spouses credit report in the public record or judgement section like I have read it could. I did an online check for public realestate actions and found our place of residency before that one listed as a place we had lived but not the eviction. Does that mean that it isn’t recorded as a formal eviction?

If an eviction action was ever filed, that fact IS public record and WILL appear if anyone runs a search for your name in the court records. It is difficult to say if any given background check will include that inquiry.

If you know of any others that would be of great help to me! (:

It is good that you have the name of the real estate companies in Central Florida. They probably are the best at selling houses you would have in the area.

You might would want to seek the property management companies in Central Florida. They are the best at getting you into a rental, whether it be a condo, townhouse, apartment or house. Thy would be able to provide you a list of rental units, the requirements and applications to qualify and anything necessary to rent one of the units.

Each management company would have a separate rental list.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

I went to a house viewing today with my dog Zac (4yr old maltese x terrier) to show the realestate that he is really well behaved, shortly after arriving the Real estate lady informed me that a dog had died of parvo on the property I immediately picked him up and refused to see the inside of the house. He is showing no signs as of yet of parvo, However he did come into contact with the infected property. He has had his parvo shot in the last year, there was a large black dog next door that seemed fine. Is it possible that he wont contract the virus ???

It is highly possible that he won’t considering he had his shot and he is not a puppy anymore but if you really want to make shure you could take him to the vet and have them give him the parvo test

RealEstate Progress will bring up the economy rapidly, but the banks need to corporate,
especially the ones that took buyout. This should be a part of the deal.

I am not sure what your question is, but your statement is far more perceptive than most I see on Y!A. The bailout itself was heavily tilted by the power, wealth, and political influence of its benefactors solely in favor of those benefactors.

The callous greed of these benefactors is evidenced in their obdurate opposition to any contribution on their part to rebuilding our economy. We helped the wrong people.

We would have acted much more prudently had we bailed out most of the people who have lost their homes to foreclosure. The banks and other speculators holding questionable mortgages would have been paid off and thereby avoided bankruptcy without the hundreds of billions we poured directly into their coffers. Millions of homeowners would still have their homes; these houses would not be flooding the market depressing the value of residential estate.

With millions of people able to keep their homes and their equity, personal spending would not have fallen as precipitously as it did. Portfolios would not have lost their value; as a result, the big banks, insurance companies, etc., would have remained solvent and would have been able to keep all (or most of) their employees. With more people able to spend money, fewer businesses would have lost their customers. With more businesses solvent, fewer people would have lot their jobs.

The bailouts accomplished very little beyond quickly restoring to a few ultra-rich speculators and to monopolistic Corporate America the wealth (and much more) that they had lost in the early part of the recession. Now these corporations sit awash in $2 trillion, which they do not invest, their promises to do so notwithstanding.

We can still salvage our economy. Since the greedy elite will not invest this immense treasure without assurance of immediate profit, we should take much of that idle capital through taxation and spend it on rebuilding and modernizing our infrastructure. Doing so would not be MAKING work; it is doing work that is long overdue. In the process, we could put millions of Americans back to work–and back to spending and restarting our economy.

I built a house for my parents and we have all been living in it for the last 2.5 years. I pay the mortgage on the property and the land/house is in my name. At the start of this year I moved out and presently live with my fiance. My parents have since started to pay me rent, however its not at the market rate of what I could get if i was to rent the property in the market.

can someone please advise if i can still claim my interest expenses in my tax return July of this year for the period since I moved out and if so what’s the implications around not charging them market rate at present. At present I think they pay me around half of the market rate for the property if i were to rent it.

Also If I was to charge them market rate then what proof would I need to have to show to the ATO if they request. I ask this since at present i’m not going through a realestate agent hence dont have a payment summary. I do however have evidence in bank account statement of them transfering me money on a monthly basis. Would that be sufficient.

Please help me with this query and your answers are much appreciated.

Rgds,

Rentally-ill

you can still claim back for expenses, in the UK this is around £4000 a year, perhaps dated bills to you new home to prove you have moved out will also help convince the tax man.

p.s. if you are looking on selling the property i would advise not to claim for expenses as you will get charged capital gains tax etc were as if the tax believe you live there you wont.

but in summary yes i believe you can claim for expenses.

First, you ask what the policy is. Regardless of what you want, the owner has the sole right not to allow any pets on property, so ask nicely what the rules are.
