I am from Sydney, Australia so I have no idea about real estate sites for Malibu.
I eventually want to save enough for a beach-front or near-enough-to-the-beach house.

Can anyone give me a price range (PLEASE STATE IF AU OR US DOLLAR, like : U$ or A$)

Or a website.

   google the city of Malibu, Calif., you will probably find property managers on that site and they will have listings of what they are renting
   and you can also probably find the newspaper in that area and they also may have a web site that lists rentals that are advertised there
