Both seem fairly good for new agents – any thoughts?
I am not an agent, but I have been buying for a very long time.
Both of these are not well respected. The agents are seen as incompetiant and other agents do not like showing their properties, because they think they will end up doing all of the actual work if they submit an offer.
They may have a better reputation elsewhere, but in CA they are bottom of the barrel.,,,,well above "help you sell" but not much more.
They are not major players, they can not possibly have that many "leads already".

Promises, promises, promises… you should work with one of the national companies when starting out in this business. They have the training to help you. These small companies make promises, but then leave you to flounder for yourself and they take 55% of any commission you earn. Leads? Let’s be smart, the best lead you can depend on is one you have cultivated yourself. Don’t be sucked into buying one of these services like House Values, it’s a just not profitable. Your best bet is to work with a mentor for the first couple of years. Been in this business nearly 20 years, I know a few things that can help a newbie! Good Luck!
